Cycling in the New Forest National Park

The New Forest provides the perfect environment for cycling for both children and adults. On offer are safe off road routes for all the family to enjoy, showing the spender of the New Forest with its open heathland and sheltered woods. The wildlife fills the area so you will many animals including the renound New Forest ponies.

If fitness is on your agenda, the Forest offers country roads that offer quiet routes through the many small villages within the park, making this an ideal short break for all the family.

Along the routes you will find many tea rooms, restaurant and local country pubs, some thing for everyone.

The Bramble Hill Hotel offers the ideal resting place for the end of each day, somewhere to wash down your bike and store safely overnight, ready for another adventure in the morning.

Cycling in the New Forest is on offer all year round with over 100 miles of cycle routes available to explore.

Places to visit

There are many small villages throughout the New Forest that make for great destinations for any cycle ride. How about taking a break for a cream tea, or pub lunch, look around the many gift shops and local trades stores.

Lyndhurst is a bussling village all year round, many shops, tea shops, pubs and restaurants to make for an interesting stop and look around.

Rhinefield House and Ornamental Drive makes for a spectacular cycle pass, stopping off at Rhinefield house for a cream tea.
